Iran children film festival announces short film lineup

The 30th International Film Festival for Children and Young Adults held in historic Iranian city of Isfahan has announced its short film lineup.

The 30th edition of the International Film Festival for Children and Young Adults (IFFCY) held in historic Iranian city of Isfahan has announced its short film lineup.

The official selection for short films includes ‘It’s Raining Slowly’ by Saeed Nejati, ‘The Kid and the Man’ by Seyyed-Mohammadreza Kheradmandan, ‘Anonymous’ by Amir Karami, ‘Let’s Laugh Together’ by Javad Qolizadeh, ‘The Alleyway’ by Mehdi Zarei and ‘The Summer of Swans’ by Maryam Samadi.

The list also includes ‘The Chicken’s Feather’ by Farshad Salehi, ‘Memory’ by Roqieh Fathi, ‘From the Sea’ by Hassan Malekzadeh, ‘Duel’ by Seyyed-Mohammadreza Kheradmandan, ‘Sweet Dream’ by Maryam Abdoli, ‘Hi’ by Mohammadreza Hajigholami, ‘Voice’ by Hadi Rahbar, ‘Trains in Expectancy’ by Shahed Soltani-Azad, ‘The Class’ by Amir Dasargar, ‘The Reporter’ by Seyyed-Mohammadreza Kheradmandan and ‘Sheyda’s Homework’ by Mehrdad Hassani.

The International Film Festival for Children and Young Adults is annually organized by Farabi Cinema Foundation in affiliation with the Iranian Organization of Cinema and Audiovisual Affairs.

It is an event that celebrates films made for children and youth. The festival supports emerging filmmakers with innovative cinematic visions and ideas. It is also an event that serves as a platform for professionals to come together and exchange ideas.

The 30th edition of IFFCY will be held from June 30 to July 6, 2017 in the Iranian city of Isfahan.
